PD2 Reading: Tips for All 5 Task Types

Prøve i Dansk 2 reading rewards technique, not just vocabulary. Here is how to work each of the five task types faster on exam day.

1. Søg information — scan, don't read everything

Read the question first, then scan the text for the keyword. You do not need to understand every line — you need the one fact the question asks for.

2. Match annoncer — find the unique detail

Each ad has one detail that makes it the right match (price, service, target audience). The headline is usually the ad's main offer — start there, then check the body for the specific constraint in the person's description.

3. Find det rigtige ord — decide the word type first

Look at the gap and the words around it. Is it a noun, verb, or adjective? For example, "helt ___" followed by a positive reason usually needs an adjective.

4. Indsæt sætningen — read before and after the gap

The sentence you insert must connect logically on both sides. Linking words (og, men) and pronouns (det, hun) must refer back to something already in the text.

5. Match til interviewet — match the topic, not the words

The answer often paraphrases the question. Listen for the same idea expressed differently, not identical wording.
