2. What Bestå Provides

Bestå is a Danish exam preparation app focused on PD2 and PD3 practice. Features may include:

• reading, writing, and speaking practice content,
• AI-assisted features where available,
• progress tracking and profile-based personalization,
• paid upgrades and subscription options.

The App is for preparation and practice only. It does not guarantee any exam outcome or certification result.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

To use some features, you may need an account. You agree to:

• provide accurate information,
• keep your login credentials secure,
• notify us if you suspect unauthorized account access.

You are responsible for activity on your account unless caused by our security failure.

4. Paid Products in Bestå

Bestå currently uses these in-app product names:

• Tutor Monthly (auto-renewable monthly subscription),
• Tutor Annual (auto-renewable annual subscription),
• optional token packs or similar consumable products where offered.

Product scope may change over time, and any changes will be reflected in the app listing and/or these Terms.

5. Subscriptions

If you purchase a Tutor subscription:

• payment is charged through your Google Play account,
• subscription renews automatically unless canceled before renewal,
• you can manage or cancel in Google Play subscription settings,
• access continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.

We do not control Google Play billing operations and cannot directly issue platform-level subscription changes outside Google Play policies.

6. One-Time Purchases and Consumables

If you purchase consumable token packs or similar products:

• entitlements are tied to your store/account context and app account where applicable,
• consumables are intended for in-app use and may be depleted as used,
• unused consumables generally remain available unless required otherwise by law or platform policy.

If purchase restoration is supported, you can use restore/account sync features in the App.

7. Prices, Taxes, and Promotions

Prices are shown in Google Play and may vary by country, currency, tax, and promotions. We may run time-limited offers. A promotion does not create a right to the same price in future periods.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• misuse the App or attempt unauthorized access,
• reverse engineer or interfere with core services,
• abuse AI features (spam, illegal content, harmful content),
• use the App in violation of applicable law.

We may limit or suspend access for abuse, fraud, or serious policy violations.

9. AI and Content Notice

Some outputs in Bestå are generated or assisted by AI systems. AI output may be imperfect or occasionally incorrect. You are responsible for how you use generated suggestions and should apply your own judgment.

10. Intellectual Property

Bestå, including software, branding, layouts, and original content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use under these Terms.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, pause, or discontinue parts of the App for maintenance, legal, security, or product reasons. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis,
• we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or exam outcomes. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product in the 12 months before the claim, unless a higher minimum applies by law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious violations, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or security risks. Sections that should survive termination (for example payments already due, liability limits, and legal terms) remain in force.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice in the App or listing where appropriate. Continued use after updated Terms are effective means you accept the updated Terms.
